The
Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to begin today with a grand event. The
event will witness an array of Bollywood and International stars. Some of the
well known names are Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandes, Katrina Kaif, Yo Yo
Honey Singh, American singer Chris Brown. The gala event will be starting from
7:30 pm at the National Sports Club of India (NSCI), Worli, and Mumbai.
The eight teams that are participating in IPL are Gujarat Lions, Rising Pune Supergiants, Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad. This year Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions will make their IPL debuts.
On this occasion, we thought to highlight some interesting facts about IPL season 9 and previous seasons.
